ON TRACK LEARNING
On Track Learning is part of an after school learning and tutorial program designed to help elementary through high school students get on track and/or stay on track with grade level academic work. Students are provided access to computers and internet services, which makes available a wealth of tutorial information and classes via Skype. Students are provided a snack and an opportunity for recreation.
PERFORMING ARTS
The Performing Arts Academy is dedicated to identifying and developing artistic skills in students from underprivileged communities by providing them weekly performing arts classes and practice opportunities in one or more of the arts. Currently, MGS&A’s Performing Arts Academy conducts classes in piano, guitar, percussion, and choir. The course curriculums and intensity are tailored to the needs of the individual student.
IN STRIDE MENTORING
The In Stride Mentoring Program pairs each willing participant with a mentor who meets the Institute's qualifications and continuously demonstrates use of sound judgment and good tastes in deportment. The mentor – mentee relationship is encouraged to continue through college and/or early years of career engagement.

MGS&A Creating servant leaders with greater capacity to serve!
MGS&A provides services to all participants either free or at a nominal cost that accounts for less than 5% of the annual cost to run the program. The institute is located in a high poverty, low academically achieving area, where 95% of its participants are recipients of free or reduced school meals and most homes do not have access to broadband internet nor home computers. Additionally, MGS&A provides free transportation and snacks during year-round programs, and free transportation and full meals during summer camp. Ninety-five percent of the program cost is covered by donors and volunteers. The program uses the nominal fee as a means of encouraging participants to invest in their own future.
